The Scheme

The Scheme is for both Action Vehicle companies and private owners. It is supported by the Metropolitan Police Film Unit.

Action Vehicle companies known to the Metropolitan Police Film Unit are able register their vehicles immediately. Private owners will have their ID verified as part of the registration process.

Once a vehicle is registered on the Scheme it is issued with a unique Vehicle ID card for display in the vehicle and confirms legitimacy of ownership and use to a police officer and identifies to the Film and TV industry that the vehicle is registered on the Scheme.
